If a parent/guest is unable to login to DataVU, try these steps to reset your access.
Solution - Parent/Guest
- Visit datavu.valpo.edu in any web browser.
- Select the Parent/Guest menu.
- Select the link for "Reset Password if Login Failed (Student Authorized Parent/Guest Only)."
- Enter your UserID (this will be your initials followed by an ID number) and click submit.
A new password will be sent to the email address on file.
Solution - Student
If the above fails, another option is for the student to remove the parent/guest access, then go back in and re-establish the access. The student will be notified just as if their access were being established for the first time, and should forward the information to the designated parent/guest's email.
