If a parent/guest is unable to login to DataVU, try these steps to reset your access.

Solution - Parent/Guest

  1. Visit in any web browser.
  2. Select the Parent/Guest menu.
  3. Select the link for "Reset Password if Login Failed (Student Authorized Parent/Guest Only)."
  4. Enter your UserID (this will be your initials followed by an ID number) and click submit.

A new password will be sent to the email address on file.

All of these steps are to not work if the student has not given parent proxy access to begin with

Solution - Student

If the above fails, another option is for the student to remove the parent/guest access, then go back in and re-establish the access. The student will be notified just as if their access were being established for the first time, and should forward the information to the designated parent/guest's email.
