Print anything from a Chrome browser, including Google Docs, through the Crusader Printing option or by emailing the document as an attachment to print@valpo.edu. Our current version of PaperCut allows you to release the print job to the printer of your choice when you are ready. The instructions for both are posted below.

Print jobs are held for 24 hours in the print queues, then automatically purged.

Step-by-step guide for Crusader Printing

  1. First, install the option on your computer using these instructions: Crusader Printing Installation
  2. Select any Google Doc or webpage in a Chrome browser. Select File -> Print in the menu, or right-click on the page and choose Print.
  3. Select the Crusader-Printing option in the dialogue box when choosing a printer. This is the Google Print service IT has setup.
  4. Once you've submitted the print job, go to the printer you want and scan the QR Code on the printer with your mobile device using any QR code scanning app.
  5. Select your chosen printer from the list. Your print job should be released and printed.

Step-by-step guide for Email Printing

  1. Send attachments to be printed to print@valpo.edu

  2. Once you've sent the email, go to the printer you want and scan the QR Code on the printer with your mobile device using any QR code scanning app.
  3. Select your chosen printer from the list. Your print job should be released and printed.

Printer Names

Printers are named with campus building codes and the room number in which they're located. For example, "KRE-ITbw-23896" would be located in the IT office suite in Kretzmann Hall. The last set of numbers matches the blue Valpo tag number. Selecting this printer in the list will send your print jobs to it.
